Easily made Bobby Flay's Meatball and Sauce





Ingredients
∙ Makes 20 meatballs
Meat
  • 1/2 lb Ground beef
  • 1/2 lb Ground pork
  • 1/2 lb Veal, ground
Produce
  • 6 Basil
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 8 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Parsley
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  • 1 Spanish onion
Refrigerated
  • 2 Eggs, large
Baking & Spices
  • 1 pinch Red pepper flakes
  • 2 Salt and freshly ground pepper
Oils & Vinegars
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Olive oil* (see notes)
Bread & Baked Goods
  • 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
Dairy
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Other
  • 56 oz Plum tomatoes and their juice (pureed in a blender)
